| Compact
design and exceptionally high working loads of Series
40 blocks make them ideal for mainsheet, halyard,
vang and spinnaker control applications on boats
such as off-the-beach catamarans, one design classes
and sports boats up to 26 ft. (8 meters). Also suitable
for control lines on larger boats. Captive Lock
universal heads allow the blocks to be fixed in
either of two planes, or free to swivel as required.
Becket pins are removable so lines can be spliced
prior to fitting, and are ingeniously locked into
position without the use of clevis pins, split rings
or tools. Shackles have slotted pins to avoid fouling
lines. Double and triple blocks can be locked at
0° or 90°. Materials: Acetal ball bearings,
UV stabilized Acetal sheaves, UV stabilized Zytel
cheeks, and 316 stainless steel load straps and
head fittings. Sheave Dia. 1-9/16" (40mm).
